The Bible uses the phrase, "one flesh" to describe the level of connection that occurs in a marriage. One flesh has a physical connotation but also an emotional connotation. Marriage is more than freedom to have sex, marriage invites an emotional connection that is as real as our connection to our heavenly Father.   Series Description Marriage is meant to be a mirror image of our relationships with God. Nothing is more clear of our relationship with God than the extreme generosity He has lavished on us sinners. Maybe generosity is the key to have a healthy marriage.
