Listening to God A driver who aimlessly drives about without a goal in mind doesn’t know where he will end up and might end up completely lost without any guidance. A sailor who doesn't chart a course and doesn't have a map will be taken off course! The wind and the waves will take you away from the direction you want to go. Often the waves of injustice, bias, prejudice, and ignorance take us off course. God provides a trajectory so we can make sure we reach the destination we want. Sometimes we don't know what that looks like, but we trust God intends good for us, not harm.
