Intimate Disruption

The agape love of the Father is after us, and He will break every rule to get to our hearts. Eric Johnson teaches from Luke 15, where a son chooses to leave his father’s house, dishonoring his family. When the son returns, the father runs towards him and puts a robe and a ring on him, disrupting the cultural norms of the time. On the cross, Jesus disrupted every rule in history, for the sake of intimacy with us.
