Into The Infinite

Wind in the rigging A sudden release Leaving behind The deceptive peace Shores fade away In the fading light We step out into The cosmic night Sails made of wings That the angels lost We cross the abyss No matter the cost The hull cuts deep Through the ancient wave Transforming the fear That the old world gave Out to the new shores! Out to the deep! Waking the dreams That the oceans keep! Over the edge Where the sky turns gold Into the stories That never were told! Out to the new shores! Break from the cage! Writing our names On an infinite page! Boundaries melt Like a shadow in flame God is the silence That has no name We are the arrow The bow is bent Into the wild Open ether sent Out to the new shores! Out to the deep! Waking the dreams That the oceans keep! Over the edge Where the sky turns gold Into the stories That never were told! Out to the new shores! Break from the cage! Writing our names On an infinite page! Nothing was finished Until we began Beyond the frail measures Of woman and man An angel is watching The compass turn The old stars die And the new stars burn Burn Burn Let the new stars burn Out to the new shores! Out to the deep! Waking the dreams That the oceans keep! Over the edge Where the sky turns gold Into the stories That never were told! Out to the new shores! Break from the cage! Writing our names On an infinite page! The wind stands good The sails are set Into the infinite
