Intro Episode ~ The Why
from Lifted Crowns Hosted by Tania Dilworth
This episode talks about why I decided to start Lifted Crowns Podcast and lays the foundation of the mission I have to change the conversation women have with each other and about each other. Today is the very first podcast for Lifted Crowns and I want to start with myself. My name is Tania Dilworth and I am Mom of 3 beautiful children, two girls and one boy. I have 3 sisters and wait for it 6 nieces! The feminine energy in my life is fierce and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Throughout my life, I received as many negative messages about women. Women are catty, competitive, dramatic. The world pits women against each other and many women fall right into it. But there is another message I want to make louder, women are inspiring, brilliant, supportive, generous, loving, kind, extraordinary and strong so so so strong. The women in my life are all of those things for me! I fell in love with this quote “Be the woman in the world that fixes another woman’s crown without telling the world about it” unknown author and its been ringing in my head ever since. AND obviously the inspiration for the name of this podcast, Lifted Crowns. I am going to interview the women in my life and learn about the women in their lives that do the same for them and so on and so on building a community of women and changing the conversation. Thank you for listening to today’s episode! Want to join the movement?
