Intro: The Mind That Directs Your Life
from The Mind That Directs Your Life · host Aashi
Welcome to The Mind That Directs Your Life, a book available on Amazon.I wrote the book "The Mind That Directs Your Life" and created this podcast because over the past few years, I became really curious about the human mind and why people experience life so differently even when they may want similar things. Why some people naturally move through life feeling confident and connected to themselves, while others constantly feel stuck in the same thoughts and patterns no matter how much they want things to change. The more I learned, the more I realised how much of our life is shaped by what’s happening internally first. The thoughts we repeat every day, the beliefs we carry about ourselves, the stories we tell ourselves about our past and future, the way we interpret everyday situations, the emotional patterns we return to, all of these things slowly begin shaping the way we experience life. And most of the time, this is happening in the background without us even noticing it.This podcast is basically a space where we talk about those things in a simple and honest way. Things like identity, overthinking, self-image, emotions, subconscious beliefs, perception, patterns, relationships, confidence, healing, personal growth, and why certain cycles keep repeating in people’s lives. I wanted these conversations to feel human and understandable instead of overly complicated, because I think a lot of people are trying to understand themselves better and just want language for what they’ve been feeling internally for a long time.A lot of the episodes will come from observations I’ve made about life, the mind, and the way people move through the world. Some of them will probably feel very personal, some reflective and some more practical. But overall, the goal is to help you become more aware of the hidden patterns shaping your thoughts, decisions, emotions and experiences every day.Because once you start becoming aware of those patterns, life begins to feel different. You start noticing how much your inner world affects the way you experience your outer world. You notice how your beliefs shape your identity, how your identity affects your choices, how your narratives influence your emotions, and how all of those things slowly become the life you’re living.I also wanted this podcast to feel calming in a way. Somewhere you can come back to when life feels overwhelming, when your mind feels loud or when you just want to understand yourself a little better. Personal growth can sometimes feel intense or performative online and I wanted this space to feel softer and more real than that.So if any of these topics resonate with you, I hope you stay. I think these conversations are going to help you see yourself and your life in a very different way over time. And honestly, I’m just really happy you’re here.
