Intro To "Our Place" Community For Those Who Have Lost A Loved One

There is one thing that must be an integral part of "Rebuilding Your Inner Life After Loss" and that is community.  So, welcome to "Our Place" Community!All of us who are rebuilding need a place to call home, with people that really get our pain. At the same time, we also need to recognize that those who have not suffered a recent loss may still bring considerable value, insight and friendship into our lives.  And here they will also be welcome.Also, I don't want to build this community to be a place where we all seek comfort by reliving that pain over and over again.  This won't allow us the opportunity to pull out of and away from it.I want you to meet and greet the rest of us! Now, granted, we are just starting out, so it might be just a few of us for awhile, but, I live large... in my mind and in my heart! So... how is Our Place going to work? First, it is a community with a purpose and that purpose is to keep you engaged in the joys of your own life!  But, since most of us are in varying stages of grief, sadness, overwhelm and loneliness, that can be a very hard thing to do!  And already feeling isolated by your grief, the internet has given us a great way to hide out at home, alone behind our screens! BUT, this same internet also gives us a fabulous way to reach out to others, to become re-engaged with them, which then will remind us to become re-engaged in the joys of our own lives again! That is why I am only bringing the best to "Our Place"!The Tarot - In “Our Place” Community, we use the Tarot as a well-respected, informative and fun way to open up our group.  I will use it as an “ice-breaker”, but it is SO much more than that.  Using the cards, I will help you ignite your own intuition as you consider a self-reflective question.  You will not be asked to share more deeply  than you feel comfortable, but I do ask that you participate.  This is one really great way to tiptoe out of isolation into the group!  We will use these “get togethers” to meet, greet and form friendships, one person, one "get together" at a time.  Don't worry if you are new to us! Strangers are just friends we haven’t met yet, so welcome aboard!Ready To Give It A Try? Here are details in a nutshell.  Each of the available sessions are capped at 10 participants to allow us quality time together.We meet online only every week for the: Lunch Bunch - Wednesday, 10:30 am-12:30 pmFriday Afternoon Club, 4:30-6:30 pm And monthly for the: Breakfast Club – 8:45 –10:45am on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Saturdays of every month, federal holidays excluded.The 4th Saturday of the month is a FREE first session in case you want to try it out.
