Intro to the [Old Testament] Apocrypha
from The Biblonian Hosted by Michael Light
Ever wondered about those extra books found in Catholic Bibles that Protestants and Jews don't have? What do they have to do with the rest of the Bible? Are they good? Bad? What did Jesus and the Apostles think about them? How do they relate to the Old Testament? What even are they about? In this episode, I introduce what the apocrypha are and the need to know what they are so we can better understand both Testaments! All my notes on the Apocrypha - interesting theology, biblical references, and book overviews - are all available on my website: thebiblonian.com Follow me on: Threads: www.threads.net/@4qmmichael Instagram: www.instagram.com/4qmmichael Youtube:www.youtube.com/@thebiblonian
