Introducing...

from The Winsome Creationist · host Steve Schramm

In this episode of The Winsome Creationist, I share a project I’ve been working on for the past three years: Go Fund Creation, a brand-new crowdfunding website designed to solve a major problem in creation science—lack of dedicated, transparent research funding. After conversations at the July 2023 International Conference on Creationism, I partnered with Steven Policastro and the International Association for Creation, along with Logos Research Associates, to build a platform where donors can support vetted creation research projects with a clear 90/10 split (90% to researchers, 10% to platform costs). I tour the site, explain the mission and blog, and introduce nine launch projects including dinosaur DNA, bombardier beetle biomimicry, an ancient soft tissue atlas, flood-related modeling and geology work, university outreach, student scholarships, and general/reserve funds.00:00 Big Announcement01:31 Origin Story at ICC02:32 Why Funding Is Broken04:40 A Transparent Solution07:32 Partners Behind the Platform09:08 Blog and Research Vision11:49 Why Researchers Need Support14:35 Projects Page Overview14:53 Featured Research Projects18:53 Outreach and Scholarships20:11 General Funds and Reserve22:23 Giving Rules and 90 1025:25 Final Call to Join
