The event promises the tools, guidance, inspiration, knowledge, and motivation needed to succeed at every step of your journey. Julie Hightower, founding Board member of the Daisie Foundation, and Mireya Villarreal, founder of the Pink Pewter Foundation, created Beauty With a Purpose by coming together after partnering for many years with their non-profit organizations, and they wanted to bring it to the beauty industry. Mireya Villarreal is the founder and CEO of Pink Pewter. Mireya’s creative vision for styling was deeply rooted in her mother’s hair salon. After the birth of her daughter, she began producing headbands and has expanded to a full range of accessories and salon essentials through her brand, Pink Pewter. Pink Pewter has seen significant expansion since its inception, developing a vast portfolio of accessories and salon supplies and selling in more than 30 nations worldwide. Mireya is the creative force behind the Pink Pewter designs. As the daughter of Mexican immigrants, Mireya learned the value of hard work, passion and sacrifice. With the continued success of her own brand, Pink Pewter, Mireya wanted to help beauty professionals grow their careers or businesses in a more powerful way through The Pink Pewter Foundation. The Pink Pewter Foundation is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization created with the goal of providing inspiration, resources, and financial assistance grants to beauty professionals. Julie Hightower is a media darling, philanthropist and a founding board member of Daisie Foundation. For the women who lust after the $4,000 designer dresses in magazines, but have to buy the $100 version; for those who yearn to feel beautiful and powerful, but must often find that power within themselves; and for those who feel trapped as vulnerable members of our society, and just need a helping hand to lift them up.
