There is no rush and be sure to have safe guards in place that ensure the introduction happens in the way you want it to vs. a spontaneous interaction that occurs due to a failure of set up, such as a barrier breakdown, etc. Introducing your new puppy to an adult or senior dog, into a multi-animal and multi-dog household, as well as introducing a new rescue or rehome into your home can go smoothly when you're able to set the energy, set the expectations, and minimise the opportunity for poor decisions. Every situation will flex dependent on the variables and some dogs will require much slower introductions than others.
