Introduction of Neuralink

from ARN Stories · host Annenberg Radio Stories

After receiving approval from the FDA to conduct human trials, Elon Musk's new project Neura-link is seeking volunteers for its first clinical trial. Volunteers would have a chunk of their skull removed and replaced with a computer the size of a quarter. Musk says this chip can help cure certain illnesses and relay your brain's information to nearby devices. According to Bloomberg, thousands of people have shown interest. Annenberg Media's Victor Kevorkian asked students their thoughts and whether or not they'd be willing to volunteer.
