Introduction to the Devout Life: First Part--Chapter 7

You would be hard pressed to find a Christian that says that they have an affection for the sin that they engage in, but, the hard truth is: There are some sins that we struggle to let go of because we like them. We may even let them go and cease committing them, but our heart may desire to commit them. And that is what we will be talking about today. We will be reading from Chapter Seven of the First Part where St. Francis will discuss purification from the affection to sin.
