Intuition is such a fascinating topic! Scientifically, we know so little about it!! We hear people say, "follow your gut", "mother's intuition knows best", but our society really doesn't reflect back to us that following our intuition is best. With all this easy online access to outside sources, who needs their intuition for decision making?!And, like so many things, the less you use your intuition the quieter it becomes. So now, for some people, those outside sources ARE actually needed for their basic decision making. This is especially true of women's health care! Reproduction, pregnancy, birth and mothering have been largely taken out of women's hands and put into those considered to be professionals in the care of women and their babies.
