'Invasion' Season 2, Episode 1 Instant Reaction

Join us this week as we kick off our commentary coverage of Invasion season two, by Story Archives. Week to week, hosts Mario Busto and Zachary Newton will be breaking down each episode of season two. Starring Sam Neill, Shamier Anderson, and Shioli Kutsuna, Invasion is an Apple TV Plus Original Science Fiction (Sci-fi) series that follows the story of five ordinary people across the globe as they struggle to make sense of the chaos unraveling around them following an alien invasion that is a threat to humanity. On this week’s episode, we break down Season Two, Episode One, titled ‘Something’s Changed’. We pick up 121 days after the events of season one with two of our main characters, Mitsuki and Aneesha. Following the nuking of one of the alien motherships, Mitsuki is taken to Brazil, since she is the only person on earth to successfully make contact with the aliens. Meanwhile, Aneesha is doing her best in the wake of Ahmed’s death to keep her family alive, while avoiding the military as well as an ‘activist/anarchist’ group called ‘The Movement’ led by a man named Clark.
