Inventing the Crime of Ecocide

Smith discuss a recent environmental movement that is pushing for the international recognition of "ecocide" as a crime against peace. The promoters of the concept of "ecocide" seek to thwart human development of resources in order to protect the flora and fauna as equal to human beings. Smith discusses his concern over the rejection of the notion of conservation for the sake of the pursuit of environmental policies that would put an end to the modern world as we know it.
