"The way to change the future, is to invent it" In this episode Greg chats with Orla Dolan, CEO of Breakthrough Cancer Research. She talks about her inspirational father, Gerry O'Sullivan, the talented and much travelled surgeon from West Cork, who was driven to find solutions to the cancers that he faced in his work with patients every day. He began a cancer research centre in Cork, focusing on the hardest to solve problems and creating a model that brought front line doctors and researchers together. Sadly, Gerry passed away himself from cancer, and his daughter Orla continues to oversee his work by fundraising and instigating research, which is already making significant breakthroughs.
