Investigating the Ancient Structures - Start Up by Randi Green
from The HAL Future Humanities by Randi Green
Exploring the Mysteries of the Pyramids in EgyptWhen I delve into the topic of the pyramids, especially the three main pyramids in Giza, I'm cannot find a good explanation for their purpose. The more I think about it, the less it makes sense.1. Burial Tombs or Chambers? - The idea that the pyramids served as burial tombs or chambers doesn't resonate at all. 2. Storage Units for Crops? - Where they used to store corn and other crops, anticipating changes in the Nile Delta as part of an annual event?3. Age of the Pyramids - Another possibility is that the pyramids are much older than we currently believe.None of these explanations seem to fully account for the purpose of these monumental structures and in this podcast, I share some of my ideas.
