Investigation underway into speeding issues on Old Laghey Road

An investigation is underway into reported speeding issues on the Old Laghey Road in Donegal Town.There's major concern locally, with many motorists said to be breaking the 50km speed limit currently in place there.The local authority is conducting assessments in the area with a view towards making a plan of action thereafter.Cathaoirleach of the Donegal MD Fianna Fáil Cllr Michael Naughton says the situation is out of control and measures need to be put in place there as a matter of urgency:
