Investigations underway after violent weekend in Charlotte

One person has been killed in north Charlotte and a homicide investigation is underway, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. That investigation started Saturday night, when police said they found a person dead from trauma on Trailer Drive.It was a violent weekend in the Queen City. Early Sunday morning, police responded to Hamilton Street just north of Uptown after two people were shot. Both people had life-threatening injuries. Then late Sunday night, two people were shot on Fortune Street, which is near Bojangles Coliseum.
