He joined VinaCapital in 2007, where he serves as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director of the LSE-listed VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund (VOF), which has a net asset value of over US$1.2 billion. He has deployed over US$1.5 billion on privately negotiated deals and led over US$1 billion in exits via strategic trade sales. He is the author of “Crossing the Street: How to make a success of investing in Vietnam,” to be published by Harriman House in mid-2021.Prior to joining VinaCapital, Andy was a director of investment at Prudential Vietnam (now called Eastspring). He also held management positions at Dell Ventures and Ernst & Young.Andy earned a BS from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a Certified Public Accountant in the US.
