Has the holy spirit been asking you to change anything or do anything new or different lately? Are you actively trying to live with the holy spirit through your day? * Read John 5:16-23. Have you prayed about or thought about aspects of your life where the law trumps love or religion wins over relationship? Pray that you would continue to see the scriptures as a window to Jesus and not an end in themselves. * Read Eph 5:18. What does it look like to be filled with the holy spirit (in your life, personally)? How do you work to move God out of your sub-conscious into you conscious, day-to-day? * Read John 15:5. God desires that we grow and produce fruit organically. What does it look like when you try to substitute growth and instead grow mechanically?
