Invisible Individuals

The Morbidly Obese are ignored, not considered by society in general.It’s like society is blaming and shaming us for our physicality, without even TRYING to understand why, or help us out of this situation we are in.We’ve got ‘awareness’ for everything, every circumstance, situation, ailment out there – with the exception of morbid obesity.  It feels like unless there’s some popular mega star standing there asking for folks to join the plight, we are left to ourselves.The “Ignore it, and it isn’t happening” mentality.  That absolves them from accountability from everything to airline seats that are a mere 14 inches wide to watch bands that are too short to wear comfortably around the wrist.
