Invitation

Encounter Henley Welcomes Lead Pastor: Tim Littleford Do you feel like your expectations of faith are based on old assumptions? In this message, lead pastor Tim Littleford tackles the idea of "old software" in our approach to sharing our faith. Using the story of Philip and Nathaniel from the Gospel of John, he challenges us to re-examine our hesitation to invite friends and family to church or into a conversation about Jesus. Tim explores three key lessons from the biblical story: The Power of Deep Relationships: Philip's invitation was successful because of his existing friendship with Nathaniel. Knowing Your "Why": Philip understood what he had found in Jesus and knew that Nathaniel was also searching for the Messiah. Confidence in Jesus: Philip didn't need to have all the answers; he simply invited Nathaniel to "come and see" for himself, trusting that Jesus would meet him where he was. Join us as we learn to operate on "new software," embracing a new season where people are more open to spirituality than ever before. If you've been searching for the courage to share your faith, this message will equip you to make a simple, confident invitation that could change someone's life.
