Inviting Jesus Into Your Darkness

Rev. Janne Osborne | April 19, 2026 The Road to Emmaus story isn't just about Jesus revealing himself—it's about our invitation. Two devastated followers walked away from Jerusalem, their hopes buried with their rabbi. A stranger joined them, taught them, but they didn't recognize him until they did something radical: they invited him into their darkness. This Easter sermon challenges us to stop waiting for Jesus to show up and start inviting him into the scariest, most hopeless places of our lives—the dark doorways we're afraid to walk through alone. --- We are a community of believers committed to growing in faith and sharing God's love.
