As we told the story of the disappearance of Betty Cantrell the one thing that kept nagging at us was the possibility that this case could it be connected to the disappearance of Kenneth Paul Wight that happened just a few years earlier. There are a few similarities to Wight's and Betty’s disappearance that could not be ignored. Sadly no one is looking for Kenneth Paul Wight, I Allen County Sherriff's office considers his case closed even though his body has never been located. He is not listed on any of the missing person data bases, even if his remains had been found, we would never know because his case is not being compared to any located remains.
