Ion spinner under partial vacuum; if you suck a bit of air out, it spins faster and the plasma tail gets longer, but past a certain point, there aren't enough ions left in the vicinity for it to spin. It's made out of a tiny neon bulb, and the two legs act as the 'thrusters'.
