He holds a doctoral degree in factory automation which he accomplished at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), one of the birthplaces of Industry 4.0. During that time, Dennis was head of research in the department of factory innovation and at the SmartFactory KL. As Senior Manager for Industry 4.0 in a consultancy, he could successfully support various companies in automotive, medical, and food industries to introduce IoT and Industry 4.0. Furthermore, he was former CTO and co-founder of a software-startup for digitizing master data management in production.
