Iowa Basketball Pursues Tylen Riley Transfer

Iowa Basketball Eyes Tylen Riley: A Potential Game-Changer in the Transfer Portal The Iowa Hawkeyes are showing strong interest in Tylen Riley, a six-foot-three point guard from Tulsa. Riley, a second-team All-AAC honoree, averaged 15 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per game last season, shooting nearly 45% from the field, 39% from deep, and 87% from the line. Despite interest from powerhouses like Oklahoma, Auburn, and USC, Iowa is confident in their ability to turn transfers into stars, as seen with Bennett Stirtzs breakout year. If Riley joins the team for the 2026-27 season, he would immediately secure the starting point guard spot, providing a significant boost to the backcourt rebuild.
