Iowa Hawkeyes Basketball: Urgent Transfer Needs

Iowa Hawkeyes basketball, fresh off their Elite Eight run, is actively seeking a center and point guard to bolster their lineup for the upcoming season. With the departure of starting point guard Bennett Stirtz and the absence of a dominant big man, the team is prioritizing these positions. Fans have expressed a strong preference for a center, with 81% voting for this position as the biggest need. Top targets include Andrew McKeever, a 72 sophomore from Saint Marys, and Sananda Fru, a 611 efficient scorer from Louisville. Guard-wise, Ace Glass from Washington State is also in the mix. With the transfer portal closing on April 21st, coach Ben McCollum has a limited time to secure these players and maintain the teams momentum for another deep tournament run.
