Iowa Player with Heart: Casey Hanson

Casey Hanson was chosen as a Beck's Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field, court, and track. In school, he is involved in football, basketball, track, baseball, FCA, and National Honor Society. He loves competing and playing with my friends. Casey says that playing sports and being competitive make the experience special and exciting. In his community, Casey has been a registered umpire for Junior High baseball for the past two years. He has also been a referee for youth basketball, an umpire for youth baseball, a volunteer at 5th and 6th tackle football games, and has volunteered at many youth sports camps. Casey is also actively involved in his church and local sorority group, participating in many charity events and fundraisers. In agriculture, Casey lives on a 5-generational family farm that he and his brothers will someday take over from his father. He takes great pride in farming and producing corn because to him, farming is more than just agriculture; it's his family history.
