Iowa Player with Heart: Eli Johnson

Eli Johnson has been chosen as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his dedication and passion both on and off the track and court. He competes in basketball, track, cross country, and wheelchair basketball while also being involved in FFA and SkillsUSA. Through athletics, he enjoys the competition, setting goals, and working hard alongside his teammates. Some of his favorite memories include the support from his community while competing and attending state meets. Eli is also active in his community through 4-H, the Iowa Corn Growers Association, and the Taylor County Youth Action Committee. Growing up on a family farm, agriculture has always been a way of life for Eli. Through his involvement in 4- H and FFA, he has developed a strong appreciation for the livestock side of agriculture and the values of hard work, responsibility, and stewardship.
