Iowa QB Race Heats Up Ahead of Season Opener | Iowa Hawkeyes Football News

Iowa’s QB battle is heating up as the season opener nears—Cade McNamara and newcomer Marco Dickinson are locked in a tight race, with neither yet declared starter. Deacon Hill flashed brilliance in practice, throwing four TDs, but coaches caution against reading too much into one day. Neither QB has started a Big Ten game, and both have limited experience at the college level. Meanwhile, the kicker and punter spots remain unsettled, making this a pivotal week for the Hawkeyes.
