Iowa Targets Top Guard Chase Lumpkin

Iowa’s coaching staff just landed a major 2027 recruiting coup with a four-star guard from Georgia, Chase Lumpkin, who’s ranked 52nd nationally. A standout at McEachern High and Nike EYBL’s JET Academy, Lumpkin’s got elite scoring range, handles the ball like a pro, and can finish at the rim or dish for teammates. At 6’4”, he’s a quick, versatile scorer who also defends with length and anticipation. If he commits, he’d pair perfectly with current guard TyReek Coleman, forming a dynamic backcourt. This move shows Iowa’s serious commitment to building a future-ready roster. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
