IPID probes death of student at TUT Soshanguve campus

SAfm — The Pan African Student Movement of Azania (PASMA), has confirmed that the person killed during last night's violence at the Tshwane University of Technology's Soshanguve campus in Pretoria, was its member. The commotion started after allegations emerged that SRC elections at the campus were rigged. Police were called in and it's alleged that the SAPS members are responsible for the death. University spokesperson Willa de Ryter says the Independent Police Investigative Directorate is investigating this matter.
