Notre Dame (21-9, 13-5), despite leading by five points at the half, could not hit a 3-point shot and went 0-10 in the second half and only shot 26% from behind the arc. Freshman Blake Wesley led the Irish with a game high 21 points, while Paul Atkinson Jr picked up a double-double with 17 points and 1o rebounds, and Prentiss Hubb added 10 points. Florida State (16-13, 9-10) dominated in the paint and scored 48 points to Notre Dame’s 26 points. Notre Dame remains winless in Tallahassee and must win on Saturday to secure the number two seed in next week’s ACC Tournament in Brooklyn.
