Iron Sharpens Iron: How God Uses People to Refine and Grow Us

Send us Fan MailLike sharpening a pencil, it must go through a shaving process. The outside layer is being removed in order to get the tip of utensil to its greatest form. Once it is used, it must be sharpened again. God uses people to sharpen us. He uses our circumstance and gifts to mold us into our fullest potential. Shaving away layers of ourselves that no longer serves us does not feel good. Thank God feelings are fleeting! We do not live by feelings but are standing on the Lord's solid foundation of His living word. Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."
