Dr. Asya Achimova is exploring linguistic nuance: While some researchers assume ambiguity to be hindering in communication, Asya Achimova explores how we resolve and intentionally use ambiguous language. She did her PhD in Cognitive Psychology at Rutgers University in New Jersey and is currently the substitute professor for Cognitive Modeling at the Institute of Cognitive in Osnabrück.
