That's the prediction for the burden of Alzheimer's Disease as the baby boom generation ages. Dr. Carmela Abraham has been researching Alzheimer's for nearly 40 years. While the focus of much of the work has been on the amyloid plaques believed to cause the disease, Dr. Abraham is taking a different approach - one that may someday prevent Alzheimer's.
