For years now the peddlers of Artifical Intelligence have told us that the technology will free us from the drudgery of work, but is this really what humanity needs and wants? Acclaimed economist and author of A world without work Professor Daniel Susskind explains the opportunities and dangers that might lay ahead. The children of the so-called ISIS brides have spoken publicly of their despair after they were prevented from leaving Syria last week, saying they want to return to Australia to go to school and see their families. Sydney doctor and Muslim leader Jamal Rifi says he has been shocked by the government's response to their plight.Ben Tudhope's parents were told their baby boy might never walk after he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, now the 26-year old is about to compete in his fourth winter Paralympics. Along the way the champion snowboarder has learnt that disappointments are just as important as medals.
