Is Australia's trade deal with the EU as good as is gets?

from The Radio National Hour · host Australian Broadcasting Corporation

Europe is open for business, that’s the message from the president of the EU commission Ursula von der Leyen as Australia finally seals the deal on a free-trade agreement with the bloc. But farmers are furious saying this trade pact is a bad deal for cattle producers and regional Australia. So who are the winners and is the symbolism of this FTA as important as its substance? President Trump has called off strikes against Iran’s energy infrastructure saying the regime is desperate to do a deal but Tehran says it's all fake news and psy-ops, and the markets, well you wouldn't want to bet on them. Gulf energy analyst Amena Bakr says the economic impacts will be felt for months and years. New research out today from Deakin University has revealed that young women are increasingly the target of online gambling ads,  that try to hook then in with tailored bets, just for the girls.
