Is Black Marriage In A State Of Emergency? Pt. 1 (Mens Only Panel)

from Mental Dialogue

While marriage is on the decline for the entire nation, the BLACK FAMILY UNIT has declined at a much faster rate than the rest of the country over the past 40+ years with very little signs of reversing.  Currently 48% of Amerians are married however, for the AFRICAN-AMERICAN community only 26% of BLACK WOMEN are married and only 32% of BLACK MEN are married.  If strong Black families are the cornerstone of strong communities is it time to explore the factors behind the decline and declare BLACK MARRIAGE in a STATE OF EMERGENCY?  For part one of this special edition series we bring in a MEN'S ONLY panel featuring newly married, long-time married, divorced and never married guests.  MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask.  ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU THINK NEXT WEEK: PT. 2 features WOMEN ONLY panel!!!
