Is Church Membership Biblical?

Church membership has gone through various seasons of understanding in the life of the church. In some eras it was a “given”. In other eras it was questioned as to its importance. But the bottom line for Christians is whether or not it is biblical. Does the Bible tell us as Christians to seek and institute formal membership in local churches? This morning we will take a look at the Scriptures as we seek to understand God’s plan for local church membership.
