The tomb was empty. The witnesses were many. The apostles preached Christ risen immediately, boldly, and in the very place where He had been killed. Now you have peace with God. Now you have a new life to live. Now you have eternal life that death itself cannot steal. And because Jesus lives, those who died in Him live too. So Christians are allowed to be sad. But they are also really happy. Because Christ is risen, and we will see them again.
