You read that right—sharing a meal isn't just a fun social activity; it's a profound way to live out the mission of Jesus! Let's discover how Jesus used shared meals—even with the most despised people of his day—to affirm their worth and bring healing. Our Big Idea? In order to BLESS our neighbor, Jesus invites us to share meals together. What You'll Discover: Jesus, the Missional Eater: See why so much of Jesus’ ministry revolved around the dinner table, and what that teaches us about who he cared for (Matthew 9:9-13). The Power of Presence: Learn why sitting down to eat together is about much more than just the food—it’s about offering friendship, intimacy, and yourself. Crush Your Excuses: We tackle common reasons we don't share meals (like "I can't cook!" or "I don't have time!") and share simple, actionable ways to start living as a "missional eater." In Our Community: Flags of Fellowship 🇮🇱 Before the message, we share a powerful highlight from last Sunday, where our community gathered to place 1,200 Flags of Fellowship on our lawn. This act stands as a visual sign of our unwavering support for the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and a solemn remembrance of the victims of the October 7, 2023, attacks.
