Is God Among Us?

Today’s episode considers a story found in Exodus 17:1-7. In this story, the Israelites find themselves in a desperate place. They have been wandering in the wilderness and find themselves without water to drink. They may well die and are understandably afraid. They are so desperate that they wonder, “Is God among us or not?” The story’s answer to this question may well have a message for us today.
