Ik betoog dat hoewel directe kennis van God misschien onmogelijk is, de kerk toch kennis van God overbrengt en veronderstelt in haar leer en praktijken. Ik benadruk het belang van het begrijpen van God door de interpretatie van Gods Woord door de kerk, in plaats van alleen te vertrouwen op persoonlijke ervaringen of subjectieve overtuigingen.
