Is Homeschooling Political?

In this episode of the Secular Homeschool Revolution Podcast, Ashley dives into the whirlwind of recent events and their impact on progressive homeschooling. From Trump getting shot in the ear to the tragic murder of Sonya Massey by police, and President Biden stepping down after a disastrous debate, it’s been an exhausting couple of weeks. Ashley discusses the new political landscape with Kamala Harris as the next running mate, despite her controversial past with mass incarceration and her relatively quiet stance over the past few years. Ashley also touches on the looming threat of Project 2025 and the ongoing genocide in Palestine, emphasizing how these issues push progressive beliefs to their limits. JD Vance's terrible, racist, misogynistic interviews add fuel to the fire, making this a crucial time for reflection and action.
