Is it illegal for estate agents to lie to you?

No one likes being lied to or manipulated but it happens to us all the time, especially in pressure sales tactics. I hope this short video will help people recognise scenarios and know what to do about them.https://linktr.ee/movinghomewithcharlie**UPDATE** Got a response from a lawyer on this question:"Misrepresentation wouldn’t apply in these circumstances because 1. The estate agent isn’t a party to the contract2. the standard conditions of sale (used in all residential transactions) specify that a buyer can only rely on representations from the seller’s solicitors in writing.
