Is it okay to ask God "Why?"

Growing in our faith includes asking God the tough questions. Including the why's however, there is a fine line between asking the Lord questions, and insisting on answers. Most of the time, we are so eager to ask God "why is this happening" or "why did you remove these people out of my life" or "why did I have such a bad day" or "why is there so much injustice in this world"...I mean the list is never-ending. And it is okay to ask the Lord these questions, but, you have to be careful as to whether these questions will push you closer to God, or drive you away from him.
